Anyone running a 285/70/R15 BF Goodrich?

Hey, I'm gonna have to buy some new tires for the 68 soon, and I want to run 285/70/R15's on the rear. The tires I'm looking at are BF Goodrich Radial T/A's. Is anyone running these? I want to know how good they are before I buy them. I'm going to be running them on my 68 SWB Step, on 15x8 vette style rallies. Hoping I won't have any clearance probs.....gonna go measure now.

Thanks

I dont know about clearance problems but I think that tire is too wide for an 8" rim. I have 275 60 15's on my 8" wide rim and they are just a little too wide and are wearing too much in the center (even when I go down as low as 22psi).

Well dang it Badazz....thanx for bursting my bubble!!! BFG recommends a 7-9 inch rim for these tires, but maybe I'll go ahead and call them just to be sure.

Thanx buddy
