Not the best original out there, but a clean ol' truck nonetheless. Spotted at a swap meet today. Very unmolested plain jane 65 with Re-Trac mirrors and 46,000 miles showing on the clock. Windshield wipers are missing for some unknown reason. Note the black primer starting to come through the thin factory paint on the hood.

Yes, came from Loveland, Colorado. Not the nicest around but very unmolested.

Nope. It's currently listed on Ebay. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53...m=151795599647

It's on there again. Did it change hands or is this the same owner still trying to sell?

It has chrome sun visor brackets, which they never had.
The truck has normal dents and scratches and paint thinning, except the front and rear bumpers, bumper bolts, brackets, and grille are perfect... To perfect for the rest of the truck. The frame is rusty but rear bumper brackets look brand new. Because they are !
The inside of the doors appear to be painted the exterior color not the fawn color. Look around he back glass on the inside of the cab, tape lines on the gasket.
Under the hood is too perfect also.
Hub caps and wheels are perfect

Nice truck but with enough make up even my old girlfriend still looks 18!

Yeah, as "sigshooter" pointed out, that one has some flaws when it comes to originality. The interior door paint issue is too obvious.

I am pretty darn certain that my 66 FACTORY 4X4 is the MOST original. Has oil bath air filter, canister oil filter, history, maintenance bills, build paper, hub caps, decals, wood bed, lwb, 283V/8, 4 on the floor, manuals ordered by original owner etc. etc etc. I am going to post it on this site for sale. I have already posted my 66 Burb.

I was under the impression that your 4x4 has been repainted. If that's the case, it doesn't really qualify as highly original in my eyes. Not trying to pick anyones truck apart, just didn't want folks to mistakenly believe that they're looking at an original-paint truck when they're not. Original, factory paint is a huge part of being among the "most original 60-66 truck in existence" IMHO. Can you clarify it for us?

My friend was on vacation in Maine and saw this and sent me pics. I don't know anything about the truck other than this. Apparently this truck has spent its entire life on a island in Maine and has 3028 original miles:

here is all the info!
is a one owner 1963 Chevy C-10 Fleetside Pickup. The pickup is 100 % complete, and original including paint and interior. I purchased the car from the estate, includes a clear Kansas Title. The C-10 was built in St. Louis MO, it was sold new in Otis, Kansas and been in the area since new. PLEASE SEE ALL 14 PHOTO'S. The condition is as follows:

Body: Overall very straight and solid, the floors are rust free, 100% clean and rust free. The exterior paint color is Crystal Turquoise Metallic with White top and inserts, the paint is all original, it does have some paint chips and road rash. There are no dents or body work. All glass is good except a chip in the windshield. The grills, bumpers, chrome is complete and very nice. The bed has the original wood and paint, there are a few paint scratches in the bed paint. The tail gate has no damage and opens and closes like new.
Mechanical: the power train is complete, this has an original engine everything under the hood is complete and looks good. The engine runs very good has always been well maintained. All brakes and steering are original and complete, the truck runs, drives and stops very well. The engine is a 283 2 barrel, the transmission is a powerglide automatic. When the electrical componets, lights, work well, the radio works but the volumn controls cuts out a little.

Interior: This is a Custom Cab truck so it has the upgraded interior with a car style steering wheel and horn ring. The original color is gray and is complete, the dash is very clean and nice, all door panels are good, the original rubber floor mat has no damage the seat is original and shows no wear.

The VIN is 3C154S176558, actual mileage is 34587 (when you see the truck in person you will have no doubt that this is actual).

Thanks for posting the photos jonzcustomshop, this truck truck is an excellent addition to this valuable reference thread. Even in a rare color, metallic crystal turquoise! I could envision a chrome rear bumper being installed on this one.

So, who's going to own it? I'm not buying, but I'd love to look it over real close. 34K miles and still using tower clamps on the rad hose is a good sign ...then again, good signs are hanging all over this one.
