Upper molding installation
2 Attachment(s)
Hey Guys,
I am getting ready to install the upper molding/trim on my '69 suburban. What is the best way to do it? I will need to buy the clips from a vendor or should I do the 3M tape method? The holes are already there so clips would be OK I just dont want to scratch the paint up. Any suggestions for the best method? |
Re: Upper molding installation
Since the holes are there, I would use clips. They will hold the trim flush to the body.

Re: Upper molding installation
I've seen people use blue painter's tape prior to installing the clips. It should help with keeping the vehicle from getting scratched.
