Re: What is the White called?
Frost white, by name. Ivory is an off-white leaning toward a shade of cream. Color codes varied with solid color and the 2-tones offered by the color was the same.

Thanks to all for the info.
Frost White is what I've seen it called. I'm about to replace my wind shield and have to do a little touch up around the opening. I just wanted to be able to paint it, but not have it contrast too much with the old color |
Re: What is the White called?
Printed the sheet from the paint charts and you may need this info
521= white, 93-21667 is dulux, 817L =lucite (L=lacquer i think), and 817=duco 526=ivory, 93-93774 is dulux, 4195L=lucite, 4195 duco. With this info you should be able to use these dupont brand codes and cross them over to whatever brand paint you will use. From memory dulux was a old school enamel that almost never dried, stayed pliable. This was replaced by centari (trade phrase was "the weight lifter" play on words because you could add an activator and have a hard quick setting acrylic enamel. Lucite was a very popular lacquer. Duco=??? |
