I always tell our customers, it all comes down to personal preference. I think the ride quality is similar in a 22 and 24, since the sidewall is typically similar... just gain more height in a 24" wheel. Personally, I am more of a fan of 22's, but have seen some 24's on trucks that looks perfect!

Keep in mind that although a 22x15 wheel can be custom built, there is no tire out there for it.

Does your truck lay on the ground? How tall of a tire is your suspension setup to lay out on?

its personal choice....I have a opinion on those big wheels but you wouldn't like it...so I'm keeping it go myself...

I liked 20/22 front & rear on bagged trucks, or 20's all around. 24's just look too big in my opinion. I have 19's on my truck (not bagged) and sometimes wish I would've went with 20's in the rear only. When you get down to those 30 series (and lower) tires, they beat your teeth out driving on the road. I'm running 275/35's in front and 345/30's in the rear.

I like my 22s and I wanted better ride quality so I used taller tires (30” front — 265/40/22 & 32” rear — 285/45/22) for more sidewall. I won’t be able to fully lay frame with my already-welded 9” notch, but I’ll be okay with an inch or two off the pavement with the taller tires.

One thing that I have found, and I have had a lot of 35 series tires, is that you get what you pay for.

Case one. 1991 s-blazer four door. 245/35/20 all the way around. I bought some cheaper General tires and the truck rode like an absolute piece of garbage.

Case two. 1972 2wd Blazer. 245/35/20 up front and 265/35/22 out back. Paid quite a bit more money for some Dunlop SportMaxx tires. Ride is very noticibly better.

Both trucks were lowered as properly as can be with spindles, springs and proper shocks. You would think that the 72' being the heavier truck would be worse than the 91' but that wasnt the case.

This is just my experience.

There are way to many variables to give a correct answer. Regardless of what suspension you have, sidewall matters. Anything lower than a 35 series is going to offer minimal damping affects.

As Pro Performance mentioned, theres no 22" tires for a 22x15 .

I personally like same size front and back just wider in the rear

Running 20s all the way around on static drop. High quality toyo tires. Rides like a Cadillac

20" all the way around. If I had it to do over again, I'd go with 22's
