Sanderson compressor same mounting as GM?

My donor truck came with a factory AC compressor assumed to be non-functional since it was residing in the bed. My used Vintage Air system uses a Sanderson Compressor. Question is will the GM brackets work for the Sanderson? Thanks

Don't think so. New brackets come with the vintage air kit to put the conpressor on the motor. If you didn't get them with your use unit. Check out Alan Groves brackets, They make brackets for anything.

Vintage air has a bracket that will adapt the Sanden style compressor to the GM bracketry or even to their serpentine set-up if that is what you are running. I believe Alan Grove is the manufacturer of the brackets.

Thanks for the replys, it confirmed that you toss the stock stuff. VA also has instructions for and modifing the PS bracket to fit (for a 74 setup which I am using). I am taking the Harrison compressor I have by a AC shop to see if it can be tuned up and converted for R134 for less than a new one.
