I dont have any pictures of the seat and i dont have the seat anymore but it had dark green on the bottom and black on the top. solid colors. Is that stock or not
My spid says black vinyl trim. What does that mean? Exactly. Becuse the door panels, dash pad. Seat belts, steering column, and glove box door are also black

All your interior soft parts would have been solid black (no green) which includes the seat. When you say "exactly" if you are looking for more specifics like seat scroll pattern, some others may need to chime in.

The soft parts so the dash pad , seat belts and seat would be black. Not the glove box door panles and steering colume? What dictates there color then? Im not worried about the pattern. Im gessing the seat was redone at one point then. The bottom green part had no pattern in was smoth and the top black part did. Small verical strips all across it.
And merry Christmas

Here's a picture of a very original 71 Chevy I had with black vinyl trim. The seat had been reupholstered at some point but everything you mentioned is black (including visors and clips) plus column and steering wheel. The chevy glove box doors were black like the gauge clusters in 1967 and matched interior paint color other years. Not sure about GMC glove box doors (can't tell if yours is chevy or gmc).

Ok that makes sense mine is a gmc. My sun visers are also black. My glove box door is black along with the guage cluster. One a side note the gove box door may not be original. It shows sings of orange on it whare the black is scratched. Unless orange primer was used? I know the spid is original. it matches the vin.

In your GMC the glovebox door would have been black originally. The column, steering wheel, glovebox/cluster, door panels, seat belts, arm rests, seat, and visors were all black. Vinyl color actually means interior or 'trim' color.

GMCs have different rules then chevy. So for 71 GMCs the trim color is the color of all the stuff special-k listed Got it

Lern somthing every day.

Yeah, only GMC matched the color of interior on govebox door and gauge cluster. On black interior the dash is black same as Chevys, but with glovebox door, too. If say a blue interior, both of those pieces would have blue paint.

That would have been the pattern for your original seat.
