Suburban and panel finds

Well, taking a cue from the Blazer / Jimmy forum, I thought having one thread for Suburban and panel finds would be interesting and useful. Apologies if a duplicate of a thread I haven't seen.

I will start off with this panel I found on Ebay. Really nice and pretty pricey.

Wow that truck gets around. It was for sale on a used car lot 25 miles north of me. He was asking $13,500.

He had also listed it on ebay several times. Usually with a $14-$15.5K BIN

edit to add, I think the buckets and console were installed while the truck was in Texas

I just found this one on CL.

The price is right up my alley but since my truck is still in pieces I cannot begin to justify buying something else when I have no garage to store it in. OMGosh I do ever want a panel though....

Wow, that one has a really good price! Sell your truck? Rent some garage space?

Good suggestions! :ito:

I keep thinking a panel would be a perfect vehicle for all sorts of things....

Hauling parts, other hobby equipment, building materials, plants...what ever a guy is into. Really handy...and cool looking too.

I agree. It's a super neat vehicle.

Once I get my truck running and reliable (a slow but steady trudge) I am going to really look into getting a panel. This one here would be just about perfect (assuming it's not a basket case) but since I'm not driving a rental car to TX, renting a truck and trailer, and hauling it back, I figured it's be right to tell you guys about her.

And thank God for it. :)

I've seen on CL and here at 5 panels and 'burbs I both liked and could afford so hopefully when I'm ready for one, I'll have nothing to worry about.

Probably will be. When I was ready for one it took me a long time to find the one I wanted. There were a number of them out West that typically sold before I could talk the seller into sending me decent pictures. Really tough to buy vehicles long distance.

Well that's how it goes! I have learned that it's better to wait and get the better unit than try and salvage a basket case.

Im really interested in what this will bring. I thought originally it was listed for $52K which Im sure cost more than that to build, looks nice and well built.

I have yet to see stock restorations get more than $30K regardless of model, wonder what it would bring at a real auction.
