I just went through this entire thread. I can't believe I missed it in the past. I have to say that you have some stellar fab skills and a great sense of proportion and aesthetics. I love the choice of the LS motor, and your ability to make it all work and not look convoluted is impressive. At first, I was wondering why you were moving the battery, then it all made sense later. You have built a very, very nice truck!

I had to laugh about the softball set-up that Troy Trepanier made. I have talked with him many times at the SEMA show, and he is my favorite hot rod builder. The stuff that comes out of his shop is incredible.

Thank you for looking at my build and the comments. I tried to keep it as clean and simple as I could. It was hard to manage all the wiring with LS swap. Troy's shop is about 45 minutes from my house, the work that he does is outstanding. He is an intense softball dad as well. Thanks again and have a good day. :chevy:

Jon, thank you checking out my truck. Here is the link for the radiator. It is from speedway motors. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Speedw...evy,23864.html

It is not a LS swap radiator, I just read a few different forums and a couple of guys used this radiator.

Thanks again and have a great day.

Super clean build. Well done. I wish I had the time and money to fix all the body work and paint on mine. Oh well. Another project for another day. At least it will move good. ;-)

It has been interesting so far. I'm new to the turbo builds.

Build looks awesome! I'm doing a turbo Lq4 and it looks like we cut the exact same holes and used the same intercooler. Great minds think alike! lol

I have to admit, I seen your post a while ago and I seen how you set yours up and may have borrowed your idea. Thanks for the visual help.

Re: 1965 C-10 LS build

I haven't been able to do much work on the truck the past couple of months. But, i'm back at it. New parts are here. Had a good friend help me open up the piston ring gaps a couple of nights ago. He has done a few of these turbo builds so rather then me doing it my self I called him in. I costed me a few beverages, but, well worth it.

Installed the new Brian Tooley Turbo Cam, changed the the valve springs, retainers, locks, seal with a kit from Brian Tooley. New lifters and push rods are ready to go. Im hoping to get the cam degreed tomorrow. And the rest of the engine buttoned up of the next couple of days. All the turbo stuff is ready to go with the exception of a few vacuum hose and small fittings. Still need to send the computer out for a start up tune.

I would post the pictures that I have but lovely photo bucket wants me to upgrade to a $99.00 account. If anyone knows away to add pictures without using photo bucket please let me know.

Hope everyone out there has a good night.

Thanks for looking at my build. Yes it is all finished and running good. This year I replaced the factory ECU with the Holley Dominator System. The system is outstanding.
I tried to upload a couple pictures and a short video but I gave me some error.
