Skinny K20 Steel Wheels

What do you guys think of this wheel for a K20 with 235-85-16 Tires?

I can get these wheels for about $75 each and they'll require much less cleanup to make them the color I want.

Seems like I can get squarebody K20 wheels for nearly $100 each and they'll require sandblasting to make nice.

Or all I find is trailer wheels.

That's about as cheap as any wheel you could get. Who sells those?

I saw them on eBay - https://www.ebay.com/itm/314437884570

But that part number is available several places -
https://racelinewheels.com/products/lt-single
or in Canada for really cheap:
https://tiredirect.ca/products/x45304

If you search the part number - X-45304 or X-45304C like the ebay listing there are many sellers.

I ordered 4 of the eBay wheels. They look really nice. It will be a while before I get tires for them...

I was a little afraid because they say something about damage at the end of the eBay listing. they only had some minor scratches and more box rash than anything.

Nice. How bad was shipping?

Shipping was included in that ebay listing $0 , I think they only have 2 left now...

Why so skinny and small? That's a 31.75 diameter by 9" wide tire. On a K20? Which tires?

Don’t know what year K20 you’re dealing with, but if you have the original drum brakes some stock type 16” steelies have rivets that will slightly touch and warp those hard to find drums (I learned this the hard way). Full welded rim don’t seem to have that problem. If you’re running discs you should be fine
FWIW I think 235-85 16’s on those rims are the perfect look on a K truck.

Orange Crate, just trying to replicate the look of the original 7.5 x 16 Bias ply tires. Leaning heavily towards the Firestone Destination MT/2 - https://www.firestonecompleteautocar...17041217781899
There's so many choices in all price ranges in that size. I think at least the Firestone is an american brand(no idea where tires are made) and the MT/2 is supposed to be a great tire.

Here's another choice, but I'm no sure you can even buy them currently - Michelin XZL
255/100R16

Tom, Short 3/4. I'll check out the rivet situation. Thanks for the tip!
