brake bleeder problem on 66'

Bleeding my brakes on the 66' (drums) . Rears done, moved to fronts, here's the problem. The bleeder screw is so close to the spindle C that you can not get a wrench on it. The wheel cylinders are NAPA brand, bleeders are metric (10 MM imagine that) Has anybody ran into this problem ?

Have you tried taking your old bleeder and putting it in the new cylinder ? I've done that before and it worked

unfortunatly I don't have those any more. Do they make extra long bleeders ? I looked at NAPA's web site, but couldn't really tell if their is a differance in length.

I have had this problem before. I was able to use a 1/4" drive 10mm metric deep socket.

Same problem here and I didn't want to re-use my old rusty ones. Searched all the parts stores and the only one who had any was O Reilly's. H9401-2, pack of two for $3.59. They are identical to originals, about 1 1/2" overall length.
Worked great using a 10mm brake bleeder wrench!

Thanks Rolland - now if I can get mine out without taking everything apart. But it looks like the right side has a little more room than the left.
