After a year of sitting idle in the shop the old 79 has moved on to a new home. Bittersweet times. As I age the times get closer. I purchased an eeek Ram 3500 with a 6.4 and an 8 foot box. It now does the camper and fishing duties. My recent move off the acreage leaves me less on space and I put the old gal up for sale. That said I am going to work on a 5.3chev tracker on a 3/4 ton frame for my 11 year old as the next project, still will be in the game. Sorry DieselDawg we never did a “crewl’ camping trip but maybe the new truck will meet up with you in the future. K.

too bad about the dually bilfman...but life moves forward.
dodge, chevy, whatever...if it gets ya to the bush, that's all that really matters...
sounds like you got a good truck, one that could make the trip to bc and not bust the bank...lol
i've been having camper issues this yr anyways....
the tracker sounds cool, my son gets his license in 2 more yrs and we have already looked at a couple 4by squares for him...he orig wanted a muscle car, but now with his quad he's realizing a truck can haul it better than a chevelle...:lol:
