74 C-10 with 454. Which Heads?

The more I read the more I get confused.

I recently bought a 74 Cheyenne C10 with a factory stock 454.

My questions:

1. What heads did it come with?

2. I thought it had peanut ports but then read elsewhere that PP heads didn't come out until 75.

3. If it has PP heads what would be involved in bolting on a better set like 049 or 781's ? Would it require a pushrod and or cam change?

I'm fairly comfortable with my knowledge of the SBC and thought I knew something about the big blocks, but it turns out I don't know nearly as much as I thought.

4. Is there anything I can bolt on that would make it breathe better? I don't need drag strip breath, but stronger daily driver breath would be a good start.

Thanks!

I've had a couple early mid 70s 454s and had 049s or 781s. Pull valve covers and see...
