Where can I find this part? 3-speed column shifter
 

Just purchased a 71' C20. Great truck but I am having a nightmare dealing with the linkages on this 3 speed column shifter. Rite now I need to buy the correct bushing as well as this specific coupling. I circled it in the image below. It has a slot that fits the rod perfectly. Any input where I can find these parts is much appreciated. Unfortunately the pick-a-part yards around here don't have many older vehicles.

Any general info or diagram or tips to deal with these linkages is much appreciated.

Hey grumpy, that's not what he circled. He has the metal piece that clamps onto the rod circled.

I went looking and I don't think anyone has them. But, i didn't look very hard. You could become a supporting member and post a WTB(want to buy) ad....I would bet Grumpy has some...

I don't think anyone reproduces that part, I've bought the bushings before from classic or manestruckparts , How many do you need ? I've got a few 3 speed parts columns or become a subscribing member and place a want to buy ad in the classified section .:chevy:

I just need one of those metal couplings. The one I circled in the photo. Would those bushings you linked also be the correct bushing for my set-up despite the year not being in that bracket?

Here is the metal part that goes through the grommet(and the bolt goes through this metal part). Not sure why I bought them...the old ones were fine https://www.classicparts.com/1967-78...info/91%2D065/
