Chevy 4.3 V6 "ticking" sound
 

Hi! I just got my C1500 Fleetside and the engine is making this annoying "ticking" or "knocking" sound. It comes when on idle or the throttle is slightly on. But when you give torque on it, it goes away. Previous owner suspects that the problem might be in the engine control box. What do you guys think?
