It was the F44 option that had heavy duty rear suspension and brakes making it a 5/8 ton to get around the 1/2 ton emissions.

How was that dash to install? I keep reading about people having issues putting in aftermarket dashes and specifically getting the dash clips in. About to do mine and looking for tips.

Can you tell me more about this? ( i will start another thread if nessesary). What is the GVWR of 5/8 ton?

i think my 1/2 ton truck has the heavy duty rear springs(will count in a sec) and i'm wondering if that is why i don't have an A.I.R. pump and other emmissions junk? (never came with it) The truck did, however, to the best of my knowledge, come with a CAt converter.

its the original dash i just recovered it in fabric. but ya the newer dashes are a pain to install, thats why i just recovered the stock dash looks brand new and fits well!

There is supposed to be a door with a rubber seal attached to a vacuum actuator so you have to have the heater on (at least I think, maybe it is to keep the cabin pressure) to have it open. Either way there needs to be a door there to keep moisture out.

Not usually that big on stripes, but the way you rounded them at the front and the nice width of them looks real good on the truck, gd job.
