fuel pressure?

Hello all, I've got a 99 K2500 suburban with 350/auto. high mileage and last month the in tank fuel pump quit. I ponied up the money to get it fixed and it made it 2 weeks and progressively got harder to start. finally Monday, no start at all. I call them up and it's the same thing, load it on a trailer and bring it in. I'm tired of throwing $100 bills at it. Can anybody shed some light on what this might be and where it is/ what it looks like so maybe I can fix this myself?

Thanks for any help.
