1966 Overhead Console??

Is there anyone out there that has an overhead console installed on their 66 C10? I see that Shelf It makes one for a 73, but that is the oldest Chevy that I can find one for. I had one of these in a newer truck of mine and I loved it. TIA.

I don't have any pics but I made one out of wood for my '63 back in the '70's. This was back in the days when everyone had a CB. This where I had my CB and a digital clock.

That is an option that I was considering also. I was even considering getting the one that fits a 73 and modifying it to fit my 66.

Probably a dumb question but how did you mount it? The visor holes?

No, it did not go all the way across the cab. It was only about a foot wide. I used 90* angle brackets commonly found at the hardware store and screwed it to the cab roof with short screws.
