Thanks Guys
3" DJM spindle w/ Firestone 2600 bags w/ plates up top and cups down below. I was thinking about cutting the cups just a little to maybe get an inch.
Would control arms help?

How much do you think I should cut off?
Do you know of anyone who has used plates on the lower control arms like these do you think these would help?

Did you have any issues with camber or any other suspension issues by doing this?
I wouldn't have to worry about heater box

I havent finished the floor yet I'm planning on cuting the inside of the bedsides and moving it up to where the tubs are about an inch from the bed rails, that way I can bolt the tubs up just incase i need to remove them in the future for something. I will post pics as soon as I get to that.
I will take som measurement of the tankand let you know, but I did have to remove the crossmember gas tank support just behind the axle and clearenced the tank supportat the rearundr the tailgate. I'll post some pics for u.

I need to mock up the motor and trans first to get the pinion angle correct.

made the bars from 1.5"O.D x .25wall DOM (Expensive)
Bag brackets are from suicidedoors

bagged74 07-16-2009 09:08 PM

Re: Check it out

do those bars have a pivot on each end?

yes in the front of the bar it has urethane replacment bushings, or i could use stock replacement. The rear of the bar has large heim joint, i wanted to be able to adjust it if needed. I still haven't installed the suicidedoors pan hard bar. I tested the system and it travels fine without any binding

I like that, looks simple. How are you going to run your shocks?
