Holley fuel pumps

They work well but are ungodly loud, even though it is mounted behind my blazer thank under the bed with the engine runnig at idle, which is a fairly decent rumble, i can still hear it. If you walk aroun to the back of the truck it is as loud as the exhuast if not louder. Somebody on here warned me about em but i was in too much of a rush and now i have to say you were right about em. Overall good flow just very very noisey! http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLin.../f12-802-1.jpg

I have a Holley blue electric on my truck, and agree that it is LOUD. But, it works real good with the Edelbock carb (the pressure is perfect for either an AFB carb, or a Q-jet, won't bend the float, and cause flooding), this pump has run flawlessly for over 5 years now, in my daily driver truck, I really wish it was a quieter pump, though. steve

If you run a longer mounting bolt and put a couple old shock bushings in there between the frame and pump mouning tabs, it will not transfer so much noise.
