what 8 lug Ford Rims are compatible?
 

Yeah yeah I know why would I want to put Ford rims on a Chevy?!?! Price and availability. I was recently laid off so I need them cheap. Lots of Fords available. I just don't know what year would fit a 8 lug 96 Chevy 4wd suburban. My issue is I think I currently have Dodge rims. But I want to use the tires. The rims are rubbing badly on top of the upper ball joint carrier. So I can't use them. So....which years are compatible? I know they changed with different years. I need 8 lug 17 inch rims....how hard can that be?

pre-99 f250/350 are the same 8lug pattern chevy and dodge used for years, cant use superduty wheels because there a metric 8lug pattern.

also ford only offerd a 16in wheel for the pre-99 8lug trucks.

Here is a thought....what about a different set of rotors? Some that mount the rims wider.
