14 bolt

I have a 86 chevy 3/4 ton with semi floating axles (14 bolt).
I am assuming that this has a 9.5 ring gear,am I correct in assuming that a 10.5 ring gear will not fit, with full floating axles?

Nope, it will not fit. But a Full floater are not that hard to find if youre looking to upgrade. Pretty much bullet proof axles.

A complete 14 bolt full float rear out of a 3/4 ton will fit though.....

Just check the spring of width. I had to move my perches when I put a ff in my 3/4ton.
