I've run various "Clemson" tags, John Deere, Earnhardt, and most recently I'm back to running a matching YOM plate on the front. SC used to require front/back plates so it's easy to find a YOM set.

I had a 305 TPI unit in the truck when I had this one. I haven't changed tags yet for the LS swap.:chevy:

I have an old chevy trucks one on the font of mine. I pulled it out of the rat nest of a cab the day I pulled it home. Never seen another one like it.

Re: show your front license plates
You guys in states other than California are lucky to be able to run your cool plates; here in California I have twice now gotten ticketed (on different cars) for a missing front plate.
For example if you park in the San Francisco Bart lots to ride the subway to work, or park at the San Francisco airport, the Cops routinely patrol those lots looking for cars with no front license plate.. the fine is easy money; so they keep doing it. I'm not dissing the Cops at all though - the policy does makes sense - for example in case it's a stolen plate on the back and the front one doesn't match. We'd want them to check that, right? and they do make a point of it even for the cars they pull over for traffic stops you may notice them walk to the front and look.. Perhaps learned the hard way over the years 'cause it would be pretty embarrassing not to catch a mismatched set of plates. |

I just need a front end to go with it

Re: show your front license plates
On mine I do not need to run a front plate, so currently I have none - but I see a lot of the "Chevrolet, the Heartbeat of America" ones up around here.

This was on the truck when I bought it and I just never removed it, I kinda like it and have thought about leaving it on there, not sure yet though. :chevy:

The one that got away, probably my favorite front plate I've ever seen. A friend of mine has it now, he got the truck with it :chevy:

Not YOM or one of the "new" issue black plates, this is the original that has been on the truck since 68.
