Re: 67' C10 Build V8 Conversion & 700r4 trans
I Bought New, but found a bad Lower A-arm Tube bearing, the threads were bad.
I called and talked to Stan Yesterday at ECE, he said they would get another one out right away. In the mean time i can work on either the Power Brakes or Power Steering, till i get that part from ECE, good thing is that ECE is only 2 days away from me so i should have it this week. |

Re: 67' C10 Build V8 Conversion & 700r4 trans
Ok just as suspected i let it sit for a couple of weeks and no one else works on it during my two weeks off.
I guess i better get back to working on it. I have the parts back from the powder coater. I did get some of the steering parts back on I need to torque the front end bolts. I pressed in all new bearings on the a-arms, and had some torqued. Now it is time to install the a-arms Whats the saying; Apart FAST, Together SLOW It's time to turn up some speed, I hope |

Re: 67' C10 Build V8 Conversion & 700r4 trans
Any update on this build? Just spent the majority of my morning at work reading up on this one - very inspirational!
I am in the midst of planning a basic build myself - 67 c10 with a straight 6/ 3 on the tree. Hoping to see a finished product - great, great work! |
