Re: Truck Bed Trailers
Biggest waist of perfectly good 8th beds. I think a tear just came to my eye:lol: Go to Home Depot and buy a 5x8 trailer and save yourself the weight and gas cost of hauling one of those around. Then sell me your bed for my project and offset the cost.;)

Re: Truck Bed Trailers
Home Depot 5 X 7 can't haul 5000 pounds of scrap iron.

Re: Truck Bed Trailers
I'm currently in the very early stages of restoring a 1970 Brookwood. Since this car did not have a title at the time of purchase, I've worked on getting it re-titled, replacing leaking fuel-lines and planning the restoration.
Now that I have a valid title, and have successfully registered the car, I'm ready to begin restoring her. I'm thinking that this car would look amazing with a 'matching' bed trailer behind it and believe that a bed from a 1973-87 C/K would most closely match the Brookwood's lines. Would any of you know where I could find such a trailer? https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...14b54f1a7c.jpg https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...fe7f41f52d.jpg https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...52b847dc02.jpg |

Here's mine. No way you could even make a Sow's Ear Purse out of this one, not with any amount of lipstick. But it does look cool behind my blue

Re: Truck Bed Trailers
After seeing all those nice 67-72 truck bed trailers I going to have to get one. Never really thought about the payload of one.

I just scrapped a leaf spring one out and kept the rear frame rails, cross members, and the 3.73 posi. There wasn't a bed on it when I got it. LockDoc |
