Best lift kit ride for 72 Chevy K-10?

I have a 72 Chevy Cheyenne Super K-10 and I'm wondering who makes the best ride in a 2in lift?

Procomp, Superlift, or custom selection. Take your pick. For a 2" lift there isn't going to be much difference.

I can't compare brands, but I can say I have been very happy with my Skyjacker Softride 2" (or 2 1/2"?) front springs. Several years on them but not many miles -- decent ride, excellent quality, and no squeaks from the poly bushings.

Side note about 2" front springs... rear shocks are the right length and work perfectly up front, with no need to change any other hardware.

Thanks Matt. Sounds like you have a nice truck yourself
Yes I'm trying to clear 33's for a daily driver. What brand of lift are you running?

mines an old 4" rancho that came with the truck when I bought it, so for now it stays. Have you checked with spring works in Boise? they might be able to set you up with something that will improve your ride and still get you the 2" lift you need. I can get you their info if you need it.

The stance looks awesome! I haven't... I will have too
. You going to have your truck at any shows in the near future? I would like to see it.

I have a few weekends of little stuff to do like taillights, line-ex the bed and a stereo. I am in town this weekend so with the rain in the forecast I should get plenty of garage time. for shows I am leaning towards emmett and mnt home. I like the small town shows.

I have ran several different Tuff Country lifts over the years and never had any problems. The seems to be a little less expensive also.

Is this really only a 2" lift?

2" Tuff Country EZ Ride springs all four corners. There is also a rear helper spring and 1" block to level out the rear. Rides well but better with weight.

That front bumper is awesome! Did you make it? Or can I buy one like that somewhere? I would love to have something just like that! It reminds me of a CUCV bumper, But more badass!

More about that bumper. I've been sketching to make one. I like how that wraps around.

Plus, too stay on topic. I have 4" Skyjacker soft rides in front and I've renamed them CRAPjackers. I don't like them, too soft.

This sort of thing is so application-specific. I have the skyjacker 2.5 on a k10 longbed with a 396 and the hd front setup and it seems about right to me.

ORD is my vote. Frame off and every nut and bolt. The ORD 2.5 has matched very well with their HD shackles and grease able "joints"

It is for sure. I may have been happy with the HDs. But now I'm blaming the whole SkyJacker brand, fair or not, and will probably give ORD a call when I replace. And it's on my short ToDo list.
