'59 Apache brake M/C & booster question...

Well, about 7 or 8 years ago I built my '59. I did a '79 Camarillo sub-frame swap. I've recently installed Eibach springs, Bilstein shocks, just ordered my drop spindles, did all new poly control arm bushings, new ball joints, basically replaced everything in the front suspension. I've also done new cross drilled and slotted rotors and quality pads. I'm happy with everything except the '79 Camaro booster and master cylinder. It's fugly, and I'm displeased with the rearward tilt, using the factory Camaro firewall mounting bracket and the janky bracketthat I built, to stabilize it between the dash and firewall. It works, but it's time for it to go!

So, I found this on the Summit Racing website:
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-760208

Anyone use one? I'm not sure if my Camaro sub frame swap will effect my using it, or not. I think that my firewall will look infinitely cleaner, getting that atrocious Camaro stuff off of it. I like it any time I can move any weight down and further back, too!

Anyone have experience with these booster, M/C and brake pedal kits from Summit for these Task Force trucks?

Thanks,
Nik

I don't have the sub frame you have, but I am running that on my 59. Guess the questions would be if the mounting location is still on your truck or if you cut it off when doing the sub frame swap. You will have to make your own brake lines as well.

With my auto transmission crossmember, the booster clears by a very small amount, very small. Sounds like something you can handle.

This link is everyone having it mounted with a stock transmission. But at least you can see how they mount.
