Vortec spider upgrade
 

Need to replace mine, but looking at various sites they show different part numbers. Anybody know the difference? They range from $250 up to $400-ish...

I use Standard Motor Products.

You'll also need the upper intake manifold gasket, and you'll need the O-rng that goes around the fuel meter body.

The AC Delco injector is close in price to the standard

Which ones are you seeing for 400?

SMP And AC Delco are both good quality.

I’ll have to find em again. I looked last nite at home, and pretty sure there were 2 delcos but different prices. Didn’t get chance to look at differences....maybe I’ll just call

Both of the ones I posted are the upgraded units, with the injectors out at the end. You can buy the old style with the poppets, but they aren't the best.

I checked again, and shows different brands. One was a "high performance" version, that was the one for $500-some. But the cheaper one will work, gotta be better than what I have...Thanks!!!

Every updated unit made is a Standard Auto Parts made unit. So no matter what name is on them, they are all the same. If you're thinking of saving a few dollars by buying on Amazon, you may want to give a consideration if there is a problem with it.

Summit is much easier to get problems resolved with than a fly by night operation may be on Amazon.

Rockauto has it for $230 and is also easy returns.
