Re: '67 Stepper "Laymond"
So I haven't been on here in a while and didn't realize I never updated this thread.
Well I actually sold this truck back in May of this year. With the "completion" of my '72 and the grave realization I'm don't have the time and resources to be a truck builder, I thought long and hard and decided to part with the project. A buddy of mine and I came to terms and he purchased the chassis and all the body parts. I kept the full drivetrain and Speedways. Its been about 6-months and I still feel its one of the best decisions I've ever made. I've been driving the '72 around constantly and now starting to gather the rest of my parts for the LS swap in it. I've also learned from my mistakes in a) I can't get carried away and b) DO NOT TEAR THE TRUCK APART UNTIL I HAVE ALL MY PARTS. The truck has actually since been parted out and everything is giving a few projects new life. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Here's the truck in its final glory. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...481063e5_z.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...7d102bc7_z.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...5d12f383_z.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...99377024_z.jpg |
Re: '67 Stepper "Laymond"
Thanks for the update! I've finally gotten on the ball on my truck. Working on redoing the frame right now. Got a pic or a thread for the 72?
