Taking my 86 to get LS swapped by a few guys in shinnston wva that are really sharp on these things, vhc custom performance..... Super psyched! Ill post pics as i get them. Been collecting parts for this for nearly a year now. Going with 5.3L/4L60 and 3:73 rear end, rear disc brake conversion, 91 gauge cluster with gmsports tach/fuel gauge combo, new steering wheel, 2001 S10 resevoir, 2001 tahoe master cylinder, new brake lines ect

thanks TKCR, itll have to be quicker, it was so slow it couldn't get out of its own way.... 305 with overdrive and 273 rear end:lol:

thanks man, i bought all the holley brackets to reuse my pancake style a/c compressor, just have to get new lines made up

Sweet! I'll have to watch this closely. Thinking about updating the red truck as well. I'm very interested to see if you think the rear brake upgrade is worth the $$$.

Why did you replace the Master Cylinder? Is it due to some clearance issue with the LS engine? Just wondering - as I'll be doing this myself in the near future.

if i remember correctly, the 2001 set up gives more line pressure for rear disc brakes, and I'm converting to rear disc brakes also
