Looks like a very nice Burb. and I'm sure you and your family will get a lot of joy and make pleasant memories using it over the next bunch of years. How did you find it, Craigslist, Ebay, relative, friend or friend of a friend? I have wanted a Burb for quite a few years now and can never seem to find the right one, thats is why I'm curious as to how you found yours..

I used search tempest. It searches Craigslist. It was only 3 hours from me to. I've found time and time again you have got to be always hunting and cash in hand ready to hit.

I actually kind of like this paint scheme.

Anyone else?

It's for sale on Atlanta Craigslist for $9500.

I like it for sure! But, it needs redone as does the engine. Otherwise solid.

Does anyone recognize this suburban. I'm ready to have mine painted and like these colors. It looks lighter than hugger orange.

Yes, it used to belong to a forum member here. He's from North Carolina, but I'm embarrassed to say I'm drawing a blank on his name.

Yep, it was mine. And I miss her terribly. But the economy sucked and I had bills to pay.
The paint was a single stage Nason's acrylic enamel. It was a little lighter than hugger. I can't remember the code, but I have it somewhere. If I can locate it, I'll update ya.

1971 3/4 Ton 4 X 4 w/custom 1 ton springs all around. Production numbers were very small for 1971 - 3/4 ton 4 x 4 suburban with gates was only 353 total, this is one of them.

Mine? I bought it dropped a little, probably an inch or two. I'll have to see what brand the lowering springs are. It looks better with the Cragar Dragstar wheels that were on it when I bought it.

Another picture of my '69 to keep the photo chain going:
