A PCM designed for a 4L60E WILL NOT control lock-up functions on a 4L60/700R4. Without the shift solenoids & EPC solenoid present the PCM will go into "Limp Mode" & wont command lock-up.

Rebuild your 4L60E.

I had the same question a while back and what i found out is you have to get a kit from some of the site like summit that connect to the brake switch and with some other connections will control the converter lock up . i did not go through with it because i desided to just get my transmission rebuilt. If you decide to try it good luck and let us know how it worked.
