66' c60 Parts for sale

1 Attachment(s)
I am not normally over on this side but i have come across a 66' C60 that i am going to part out. Where would be the best place on here to list it? seems like it would be odd man out listing it in the 60-66 section since it is a 60 series. Most of the metal is pretty rusty but didnt know if there were some parts some of you may need. It has a small block with manual and 2 speed rear. The truck was driven to its current spot about 10 years ago and parked.

Thanks
Richard

Since there's no Heavy Haulers parts for sale section, this seems like the best spot. I changed your title to add the words "parts for sale"
Good luck.

Thank You Bill. Just wanted to make sure I was doing it correctly before getting in trouble

Here are some more pictures of the truck. I only have a short time to get off the parts anyone might need before I have to turn it over to the scrapyard. The bottoms of the doors are somewhat rusty but they open and close real nice. Hood is toast cab has major rust over the windshield. Bench seat folds forward.

Just so I don't break rules

horn button $10 plus shipping
steering wheel $40 plus shipping

See anything else just ask. Nothing has been taken off the truck as of yet so everything is pending I can get it removed without damage.

Richard

The grille is sale-able. I don't want or need it (I have one) but I know you can sell it.
Don't let it go to the scrapyard.
Greg.

I could have used the top had it not had the same rust over the windshield. How are those fenders? If they aren't all ate up they will be wanted by someone. Same with running boards, for that matter. What engine does it have?

The roof is bad toast inside and out. The fenders have some dents in them but "appear" to be rust free as well as the running boards. Hoping to get time tomorrow afternoon to get them pulled off along with front bumper.

The engine does not appear orignal. The breather top has a 350 270 hp sticker on it with a quadrajet 4 bbl. I pulled carb and breather off today when I pulled the upper radiator pipe. It also has a lower radiator pipe that I am going to remove once I get something to catch the antifreeze.

I got the grill, flasher,C60 emblems, &upper pipe removed today but had to leave before I could get everything cataloged and pics taken
The fan shroud has a large break all across the top so I doubt you would want it. Do you need the lower radiator pipe as well? The transmission hump appears to bolt on but is flat with the floor. I will try to have pics and prices to u tomorrow including shipping.

Thanks
Richard

Good luck.

There are alot of parts that would work for 60-66 C10. I would suggest you move it to that area and he would probably get more traffic/interest.

I thought about that as well. But, the for sale sections are a different system and threads here can't be moved there.
richard2717, you might want to start a new thread over there.

Tim,
Do you think it is worth pulling the inner fenders along with the outers or just the outers?

Re: 66' c60 Parts for sale

Richard I am interested in the cluster, the knobs for the switches, Better pics of the radio, wiper arms and is the door glass soft ray? There is a lot on that truck that fits a C10. I would pull the seat, that entire front end with the running boards and the doors. They are not to bad for east coast doors. All will sell and to nice for the scrapper.
Jimmy
