Vintage Air drain

I am installing a Vintage Air system in my 55 second series and was looking at the drain. Does anybody have a better way than just punching hole into fire wall? I went to get deal of work to clean my fire wall off and adding another line that just drips seems counterproductive. Been thinking of 3/8 line bent to follow the inside of the cab to the side vent and dropping the line in there. Bad idea? Other ideas? Pictures?

you've got the right idea, thats where I'll be running my vent, but sorry no pics yet. I too spent a lot of time cleaning up my firewall and won't be cutting any holes in it, so you're dead on.

Johns327, I did about the same as you said. Bent up tubing that comes thru the cab. It drains down behind the front tire. Here's a pic, hope this helps...Jim

Thanks all. I’m going to run mine out the vent as well.
