Dark Poly '67 CST Shorty
5 Attachment(s)
I picked up this little beauty in Reno Nevada last August when attending the "Hot August Nights" show, I saw it at the auto swapmeet area, it was a unrunning '67 SWB CST, that was stock height at the time with some hideous rollers tires with a big "For Sale" sign, upon closer investigation I noticed the factory bucket seats that were standard in the '67 CST were still present, I also noticed a few other options that appealed to me along with the Dark Aqua Poly color..... after doing "the dance" the truck was mine. ;) It's kinda personalized now! :metal:

Looks great Rene. But I've never seen you put semi-wide whites on a lowered C10 before, I like it! ;)

Rene, you did a great job on that patina. Looks so real!!! Is it a 283 under that hood? If you decide to part... |
Re: Dark Poly '67 CST Shorty
The man is a magnet for these old trucks I tell ya. I don't know how he finds them all. It's a good look. I've never really cared for the toppers but I know they have their use. Seeing old ones in good shape are rare though.
I've never been a white wall guy but the older I get the more I look at them. They are a rarity on today's vehicles. |
Re: Dark Poly '67 CST Shorty
A 67 CST shorty and with the small window , sooo nice. Is that a four speed ? The tilt looks like it's been with the truck from the factory. Good looking truck you got there.

Re: Dark Poly '67 CST Shorty
Been following you on instagram for a long time, Rene, but this has to be my favorite truck you've owned. If you ever decide to let it go, I hope you'll give us East Coast boys a chance at it. :)

Tilt man Kev up to his old tricks! Was going to ask about him, John O, and the rest your crew. I'll go look at the Blazer thread if you say you told it's story there. I'm getting bored with this thread anyway. |
