WES-can you run these #'s for me?

BK 277W02-it's in a '72 cheyenne super rear.

BK isnt right for axle stamping code, it should be an R code such as RHB or RHC, if it is really a 72 axle, i would recheck that stampinf code and make sure of those first letters
70-72 are three digit codes and 67-69 are two digit

Thanks for the info Fast! I just had to go out and look so here's what I found. It's not a 67-72 rear! the numbers are TBK277W02 and the drivers side shock bracket is to the rear! Can anyone help with this #? I know the rear is a Posi. just looking for the ratio. Thanks,
Matthew

oh, that explains it all, i feel better now, dunno 73-up codes, someone lese here may know them, or just call thwe parts counter at your local hevy dealer and ask them to look up TBK, they wil want year, but you can get year off the diff housing lower webbing, there's a date code casting on it. last digit is the year, 3= 73, 9 = 79 , etc etc

I can't find a TBK, but I find a TPK in 71 witch is a 3.73 possi for a G20 or KA10 3.73 possi. That's it for the numbers you gave. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com
