Looking for blazer top restore info
I don't own a Blazer but I do check out this side now and again. Awhile back I was reading a thread, may have been a build thread, where someone restored their top. It was really well done, had all the little bumps on it and everything. Can anyone point me to that thread, or similar threads?
Usually Im pretty good using the search function ... not this time. |

I did a lot of work on mine but didn't go into much detail in my build thread. After the fiberglass work was done I sprayed it with raptor liner using a schutz gun. Texture may not be exact but I like the look of it and not many ppl would know the difference without two setting next to each other. I don't have a close up of the texture but this was what it looked like after fixing all the sags that are common with a double wall top.

Talk with mark. (livrat) I am sure he could tell you all you need to know for when you pick up my blazer......

Fly in and drive home? I honestly would love to have it. I have way too much stuff to get rid of first, and that thing will be long gone.

U-pol Raptor comes in tintable, add your on base coat to it for custom color....I used the tintable version on mine, with bright white... I wanted a smoother finish, so I added more base and more reducer....applied with HVLP gun 1.8 tip.....2.0 Tip would be even better.

Re: Looking for blazer top restore info
I have two single walls to restore. How have people fixed the sagging? I know the single wall has wood trusses. I’m thinking of cutting them out and putting in steel.
