Subscribing in on this thread. Been waiting for someone to offer a 'kit' that resembles the OE set-up. I really like that you went the extra step to create outer vents/balls to match the center vent/ball style. That's definitely cool in my book.

I need to look up Vintage Air kit info & see what their hose kits look like (to the outer & center vents). I'd like to see/understand what it will take to allow connecting everything.

im not sure when i will have them at this time. I will have plenty of time to work on the project the last 3 weeks of the year (im off work) the total will be about $130.00 with the housings. I have not made or sold any so this is a close guess.

made some progress on the work room Sunday. now i need to run an air line to the room and i can start making parts again.


i was doing this at my friends that has helped me through this whole process. his mom got sick and he went back east to take care of her. so now im moving the operation to my house. im expecting to be in full motion by Christmas. getting started in a new location is costing me alot so please bare with me.

I would like to purchase the small vents and have my AC balls chromed. Can you help me with this or get me in touch with your chrome service? Thanks! You work is impressive. I would like to see a part that mates the AC to factory vents. I hope vintage air works with you in the near future!

this Sunday John and I plan on installing the airline to my workroom. just one step closer to getting those parts to you guys. I will keep you informed with the progress.

we finished most of the new air line system. should be done this Sunday if all goes as planned. then i can start making parts again. it takes alot more money than i thought to buy all that copper line. spent like $421 just on copper pipe.

$50 each...chrome vent balls any size or center vent
$25 each...raw vent balls any size or center vent
$10 each...center vent ball mount

$12.50 each...good used old vent ball trade in.

i need to make a few more before i ship them off for chroming. as you can see they are a little smaller than the center plate vent ball.

still making the vent balls and center vents to fufill the waiting list. thats a minimum of 67 vents i need to make. once those are done they go off to get chromed and thats a 5 week turn around. i will keep you posted as always.
