Tf 55-59 With M2 headers on LS engine?? Help

HI
Im curious if anyone put headers on a TF Truck with a mustang 2 front suspension with a LS engine... I"m trying to get an idea of what one to buy and trying not to buy a pair and not be able to use them..:(
If anyones done anything like this or something close let me know!! I've looked up the projects but havent found anything and searched..
Thanks and Thanks!

I tried Pacesetter 70-2259, they fit but the steering linkage was not going to work very well. My motor sits about an inch forward of where it should be and that may be why.

I ended up using the Hooker cast iron items, no problems.

do you really want headers or is it that you just can't find manifolds to fit between the frame rails? I used 2000 camaro manifolds and they fit with room to spare.

I'm looking for headers but that is great to see about the camaro manifolds.. are the manifolds off 98-02 camaro or the 2009 and newer? Thanks always good to have something in the pocket.. :) thanks

I used 2011 Camaro manifolds and they clear nicely. I went from the nightmare of 4 u joints with a heim joint to 2 u joints and a straight DD.
These are on ZL1 Camaros as well, so they flow 500+ HP.

interested if you ever found a set that fit. I'm installing an ls in my scotts hotrods equipped 57 soon and need to find out what works. Thanks

I end up using a set of Speed Engineering LS Longtube Headers 1 7/8" C10 Trucks Universal (Swap, Conversion) LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6 but I asked they are the exactly the same as the Camaro 67-69 headers as well.

I love the headers and the fit is great and shouldnt be a problem with the steering column too with only two knuckles.

I'll post pics when i get that far or I might have one up on my build too.

Joe

Man, thanks a ton Jaws61. Huge help. Nice build! Same plan I have for my tank. It sucks you had to chop the floor up. I was hoping to get away with putting in the high hump trans cover and calling it good. Oh well, I'll cross that road when I get there. I look forward to watching your build come along bro. Best of luck.

Thanks for the complement :) You'll probably be able to get away with the high hump actually, I didnt have the tranny set down 3 degrees but at level so i could have gotten a way with cutting alot less of the floor but at least its ready for the t56 i get one down the road. lol I'll have more pics for you in a week for the power steering and stuff, Just getting out of paint.. :)
