Changing rear fenders

Need to replace both rear fenders on 67 stepside truck. Is it as simple as unbolting a few screws? thanks

I could get the bolts loose by hand so I used a cutting torch.

Re: Changing rear fenders

I drilled the center of the phillips screw head out with a twist drill a little smaller than 5/16" diameter.
Mine where very badly rusted.

I think I used 9/32 (but 1/4) would have probably worked also.

I drilled just deep enough to get too the back of the nut.
Then when I turned the nut with a wrench it broke off clean and no damage to the fender.

Good exploded diagrams on LMC truck catalog.

Not the best pics, but:

1. Bolts connecting step to fender;
2. Bolts connecting stiffening rods to bedside;
3. Bolts connecting fender to bed.
