67-72 4wd frame

I am trying to find pictures of the parking brake spots on a 4wd frame. I have a rear leaf spring 2wd frame I am going to use to make my Suburban 4wd but I don't know how the parking brake works on a stock frame.

Could someone post some pictures of the locations?
Please don't say to find a 4wd frame, finding a good 4wd Suburban frame is not an easy task.

Sorry about the picture but you can see where the cable sits on the frame. In my hulk build I have a few pictures. It's about 12 pages in post 300 or so.
Hope this helps

So it uses a bracket instead of going into the frame, but what about the rest of the parking cables? Is there a rod on the other side, or do both cables from the rear come up the LH side and go to an equalizer?

Re: 67-72 4wd frame

Yes it does. I only used the front stock cable. Normally the intermediate goes in a loop. sorry I don't have a photo of a stock set up.

OK, thanks. It may be enough, I have a 14BFF and I am going to put Eldorado calipers on it, so I have to figure out what to do about the other cables anyway.

Hopefully someone else can chime in too.

I stole this from another post.

I put Eldorado calibers also that is why I re-vamped the routing and had custom cables made from the caliper to the mount and decided to not pu the loop in. check out my build.

I have a '71 LWB roller that still has the trans / transfer in it & all cables still hooked up. I can get photos this weekend as I am not at home during daylight hrs right now.

Thanks, sort of, but not really. Where does the rod go that is opposite the brake cable from the pedal?

Hey, another request, could you post a picture of the rear shackle hanger for the front spring and the shock mount for the front too?

Re: 67-72 4wd frame

One m ore request please, I can ask in the truck forum if necessary, but I was hoping someone could tell me the distance from the front spring location to the shackle hangar in the rear?

I got a DIY4x B52 kit on order, but I am not sure I want to use 52" springs. I have a set of square body front springs I kept from the truck I got my axles from. I am hoping I can potentially use those springs with the shackle hangars in the stock rear location. I am not sure it will put the axle in the proper location though with the pin in the spring.
