33's No lift?
Will 33's fit on my 88 Burb with no lift? I'm pretty sure they will. Does anyone have pics of a 81-87 with 33's and no lift? Thanks, Bradley

On my brother's 84 K20 33x12.50x16.5's fit after we removed the running boards but would rub slightly when turning the front wheels. I'm guessing a K10 would be about the same.

Re: 33's No lift?
I ran 12.50/33 BFG A/Ts on 10" wheels on my '90 Blazer. I did go to the spring shop and get it leveled up by arching and adding a leaf, which gave it 1-2". I didn't really "wheel" it and they cleared fine. 8" wheels would really help give better clearance. BFG also makes a 9.50/33.
Here it is all stock with 11.50/32s: http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...scan0005-2.jpg And,with 12.50/33s: http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...s/DSC00502.jpg |
Re: 33's No lift?
Sweet! Thanks guys! I hate to say it but I'm going to use a lift block in the rear. It's 3.5" lower(wheel well measurement)in the rear than the front. I hope a 2" block will make a nice difference. I just cant afford springs, and an ad-a-leaf would harshen the ride.

You will be fine with a block in the rear. Especially one that small.

not a burb or k5 but this is an 84 with no lift. tires are 33" 13.50. tires do rub rear of fender but not bad. also its 3/4 ton so there may be a height difference there as well. hope that helps
oh yeah.....tires are mickey thompson mtr so they have serious tread. an all-terrain may be a little better. also depends on the offset of rims |
