Body jig
Finally found a body for my 67 K20. I need to build a jig for it, preferably from lumber. Can anyone help? Thank you!

The '67 Chassis Service Manual has frame measurements if you don't come up with anything else. The measurements are not on the frame drawings but in a chart a couple of pages back. You can down load the service manuals here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php?p=5781194 LockDoc |

Re: Body jig
Check out the thread "Crosbreed" in the Blazer build thread. A Burb body might be a little heavy for that, but a very creative idea none the less.

I built one out of wood and it works great. For mounting locations I measured where the body mount locations are on the bare frame I had. The wheels are heavy duty and I can roll around the whole thing by myself.
I used 2" x 12"s with 4"x 4"s bolted in the corners. It's kind of tough to get a picture of it in my garage though. Let me know if you need any more details. Paul |
Re: Body jig
I will build one! Thank you. Maybe another picture of the inside.

I’ll see if I can get some better pics tomorrow.
