72 Chevy C10 to C20 front suspension swap
 

Hey guys! long time no see!

so, i've got my duramax INTO the truck, and it was on the road, until it got cold! While it's cold, i'm switching the front suspension over to 3/4 ton.
I've got the 3/4 ton spindles, lower control arms, and all the ball joints!

this weekend i got started and, like a dummy, realized that i had forgotten to get both inner and outer tierods for the 3/4 ton, and the center link!

question. does anyone know if/how much bigger the 3/4 ton center link is over the 1/2 ton? or, would it be the epitome of folly to just enlarge the holes in the center link to make room for the bigger tie rod ends?

Edit: also! i'm putting new shocks on the front while i'm at it, does anyone have a favorite brand they have experience with? or, just an autozone special? :D thanks guys!

IMHO there is no way I would enlarge anything on a center link! Go get the right one.
