K30 SRW Silverado 1984
 

Just purchased a 1984 K30 SRW Silverado, 454, auto, AC, with HD 10K suspension. Mileage not sure, maybe about 75K. Has a front snow plow.
454 starts and run good on initial evaluation. Needs some work. Been in restoration by P.O. since 2004. PO sold as he had no place/time for it anymore.
For now getting to know it. Lots of looking/poking.

Main reason for buying, truck for grandson.

Received the vintage vehicle information package today from GM Canada, for K30 SRW Silverado. 924 K30s were made in Canada for US sale. Confirms what vehicle shows and then some, all good. Three pages of options, some unique. Shows that this truck was ordered by a person specifically. The information package includes several pages.

Currently looking up option code Y58 convenience group, not found content information yet for 1984, along with code B7P, maybe different bed panels/box??

Will post some of the unique options later, highly optioned with HD and look good stuff.

Sounds like a cool find. Do you plan to 'finish' the restoration, or more just reassemble to drive?
