Re: Anyone got a part number for Energy Suspension bushes?
I'm at work and have a catalog in hand. what are you looking for?
I'm an idiot. Those arms use a metal sleeve. There is no rubber in them. The only bushings they offer for arms are the rear trailing arms |
Re: Anyone got a part number for Energy Suspension bushes?
Currently laughing very hard as I am pretty much a ringer for Dr Evil....
So.... I am looking for upper and lower control arm bushes. Now it might be that they are not Energy Suspension, what would you recommend? And yes I deserved that! p. |

Re: Anyone got a part number for Energy Suspension bushes?
I forget that they don't use rubber or poly bushings on those arms.
See here http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cbe/full.aspx?Page=88 I can get you part numbers for the rear trailing arms. |
Re: Anyone got a part number for Energy Suspension bushes?
Thanks, I know that a number of member have used poly bushes but what do they use?
This is for the upper and lower control arms P. |
Re: Anyone got a part number for Energy Suspension bushes?
dunno. Unless they have the 67 or newer control arms with the rubber bushings.
If your truck is a factory 66 without modifications, then you don't have anything available in a poly bushing. |
Re: Anyone got a part number for Energy Suspension bushes?
All C10, 20 and 30 trucks from '63-'72 use steel bushings on the control arm shafts. The '73-'87 front suspensions use rubber control arm shaft bushings that can be changed for urethane bushings if desired. If you have seen someone install urethane control arm bushings on their '63-'66 truck, they have changed to the '73-'87 control arms.
