Transfer Cases

2 Attachment(s)
I have some 70-72 (maybe later?) NP205s I want to get rid of. Just the transfer cases alone. I can take pictures, but you all know what they look like. What are they worth alone?

I also have a complete 3spd/Dana20 (I think) set-up incl front drive shaft and bell housing. Not looking to get all I can. More like I want to see someone use this and I want it gone. I have no use for it.

The 205s I don't mind keeping if they don't bring decent money. I have trucks with those.

All this stuff comes out of a storage shed. Been stored dry inside the whole time.

I also have a couple motors out of trucks. One's a 327 and the other is a 350. Very complete yet. What do people pay for used complete engines? I think I'll keep one to build a 383 and keep my correct '72 K/20 engine in tact. I need to check if the 327 is a late large journal. IIRC the suffix code also ties it to a 350 application. I need to get the numbers again and check. I've had this stuff a long time. Need it gone.

Re: Transfer Cases

Around here, the 205s would be around $200 each. However I haven't come across any for awhile. The 3speed dana 20 I couldn't hardly give away the last one I had.

Engines, maybe $200-$600 depending on completeness and application.

Prices are similar here. I bit more on the 205's since this is 4x4 country. The ones that mate to automatics seem to be more difficult to find and usually bring $400-500. Harlow

Re: Transfer Cases

Thanks again. Pretty much what I was thinking on all of it. I used to scrap Dana20s but I think any part is worth something to someone these days. One of those things I'd pretty much give away if someone needs it. This is a complete drop out assembly, which should help it for those with imagination and ambition. But also great spare for a bone stock resto
