So....I've been thinking of doing a back half for a couple of weeks now, and since I can't wait any longer on a step notch, Saturday I went and bought 24' of 2x4" tube and started cuttin'.

I made a cross member for the back and cut the old frame out.

here's some pics of the c10 that my nephew picked up last week, decent shape, with a mint short box, 4/6 drop, 350 tbi and a 5 speed....good starter truck. and a pic of the donor truck we picked up today.

so....the weather wasn't all that great this weekend, which means I didn't get to sand blast my cab, so I found some other things to do...like fix the huge dent/crack in the drivers door......I repaired it with a piece cut from the old doors
