Help identify 4X4 transfer case skid plate?
5 Attachment(s)
Cleaning out the shop and could use some help in identifying this skid plate.
I want to make sure I list it correctly for sale. I bought this some years back from a board member when I was accumulating parts for my now defunct 1972 4x4 project. I can't see anyway that this fits the 72 4X4 I have with the NP05. I am thinking maybe it fits the 67-70 4X4 with the Rockwell transfer case? So I'm hoping that one of you 4x4 Guru's (experts) could help verify what I've got. Thanks for your opinion Ron |

I'm not a 4wd expert, but I did acquire a 68 3/4ton 4wd frame recently and it has the same crossmember and skid plate, mine has a single spacer on each side about 1/2" thick.

Re: Help identify 4X4 transfer case skid plate?
I agree, that's the skid plate setup for the Rockwell transfer case trucks. It's actually located under the rear drive shaft carrier bearing, not the t-case. Same as the one on my 1968 K20 pickup.
