Looking for spark plug wire recommendation

I have a Pertronix style ignition on my 327, and I'm a little overwhelmed trying to find a good set of plug wires for it. I'd like an 8mm cut to fit set and wondered if someone could offer a dsuggestion of some good wires- preferably with 90 degree plug boots. Thanks so much. Ned

How do you want to run them?? When i did my sbc plug wires i would use a say 70 corvette sbc set because they ran behind the heads and under the exhaust and then come up to the plugs from under neath with 90 degree ends. The beauty of doing it this way is you can get nice stock wire holders that run along the block tucked in nicely and don't get burnt up. I've replaced gobs of burnt up wire sets because they ran on top of the hot exhaust manifolds. Stock heat shields are a must for longevity. My favorite brand was standard plus and i think taylor was good too. Good luck!!

Thank you. I am running them up along the valve covers in looms. I found out some ideas on good brands so I think I am set. Thanks!

I'd be interested in what set you buy and how you like it.

I like Taylor wires but take a look on Jegs.com or Summitracing. com They have all kinds to choose from. And another thought to consider, you mentioned you were running the wires along the valve covers in looms, I was told some time ago, to stay away from the billet enclosed wire looms. Electricity is heat and with those type of looms you trap heat. These are what I'd suggest using but this color is not the only choices you have..

This is what I did as well after researching recommendations on the board. I just used good old AC Delco wires and have had not complaints yet.
